Marion Wienclawski: Sierra Marketing Manager and Wise Warrior Mentor
Celebrating International Women's Day with a tribute to the everyday women heroes who empower and uplift our communities.
Meet Marion Wienclawski, Sierra Marketing Manager, who volunteers as a Wise Warrior Mentor for the Warrior Woman Foundation.
A bit about Marion Wienclawski…
Marion is originally from New Caledonia and has been living her “Australian Dream” for about 5 years.
At work, Marion wears different hats: Marketing Manager at Sierra Marketing, Digital Marketing Mentor at MentorMatch and Wise Warrior Mentor for the Warrior Woman Foundation.
Through her Marketing Manager position and her mentoring roles, Marion helps businesses and individuals grow and achieve their goals. Marion is passionate, enthusiastic, empathetic, and she loves what she does!
Her journey to becoming a mentor for the Warrior Woman Foundation started when she saw an ad on Instagram - yes, paid media works ;). Marion was looking for volunteering opportunities and immediately knew the Warrior Woman Program was everything she was hoping for.
Inspiring and empowering young women, being part of a community and contributing to creating a better world drive and inspire her.
“Being a mentor to young women is an absolute privilege… I cannot express how grateful I am to the Warrior Women Foundation for giving me this incredible opportunity. We all know how difficult it can be to transition from teenage to adulthood...all the new responsibilities and life changes that we are often not prepared for. While the majority of young women get by with support and the right environment, for some, it's not so simple. I am dedicated to supporting young women in their community and beyond so they can become the best version of themselves, living up to their potential and living the most fulfilling life.” Marion Wienclawski
Before joining the Warrior Woman Foundation, Marion flourished when sharing her experience and knowledge with interns and Digital Job Program mentees.
First, as a student, Marion had the opportunity to train two beautiful young women during her bachelor’s degree. Later, as a Marketing Manager, Marion trained marketing interns - One of them is now part of the Sierra Marketing team and is incredibly thankful for the invaluable experience and support Marion provided.
The Warrior Woman Foundation: Empowering Women Globally
The Warrior Woman Foundation was established in 2020 by social entrepreneur Jessica Brown with the mission to enhance the safety and well-being of young Australian women. As a national not-for-profit women's support movement, it brings together women from diverse backgrounds, including mothers, business owners, community leaders, and marketing managers ;).
The foundation's Wise Warrior Mentors collaborate to identify and create ways to support young women across Australia, ensuring they are seen, heard and valued.
The program adopts a holistic approach, aligning with the principles of the "Self Determination Theory", focusing on fulfilling three essential needs: relatedness (connection), autonomy (life skills education), and competence (mental health support).
● Connection and Belonging: Through the Warrior Woman Program, young women find a nurturing environment to share, learn, heal, and thrive. Each participant is paired with a mentor and introduced to a network of diverse community-minded women who offer continuous support, wisdom, and opportunities.
● Life Skills Education: The Warrior Woman Foundation teaches young women the life skills they need to succeed in everyday life, focusing on financial literacy and job readiness.
● Mental Health Support: Prioritising the well-being of young women, the Warrior Woman Foundation facilitates safe psycho-educational workshops conducted by experts to support and guide the process of trauma healing.
Marion's Role as a Mentor: Support, Wisdom, and Guidance
Earlier this year, Marion took part in a Power Talk Event held by the Warrior Woman Foundation that focused on building self-confidence. It was the opportunity for her to meet with young women and provide them with a safe and supportive environment throughout the day.
Within her role as a Wise Warrior Mentor, Marion aims to create a safe space for open discussions where young women feel comfortable sharing their struggles and aspirations and where she can offer valuable advice and support.
To inspire others, Marion openly shares her own experiences, including how she managed to achieve her definition of life success after her own childhood struggles. Her guidance will unquestionably help women grow and gain confidence, making a positive impact on their lives.
What sets Marion apart is her positivity. It creates a supportive environment that encourages her mentees to face their challenges head on and inspires them to pursue their dreams with resilience and determination, just as she did.
Marion's optimism will also help her guide these young women through their difficulties with kindness and understanding. Marion sees problems as opportunities to learn and grow, offering helpful advice without judgment.
Throughout her journey with the Warrior Woman Foundation, Marion plays a pivotal role in nurturing the growth and confidence of young women and in guiding them towards a brighter and more fulfilling future.
Marion’s Vision: Traits of a Wise Warrior Mentor
Marion believes that exceptional Wise Warrior Mentors share some important qualities.

● Inspiring – They are positive and face challenges with determination and resilience, inspiring others to do the same.
● Passionate – They are passionate, and they flourish by helping young women and positively impacting their lives.
These same strong traits Marion also values (and her team appreciate) at work in her role as a marketing manager.
